We are in Mildura for a couple of days now. It was so cold in Broken Hill. We are camped right on the Murray.
We visited Jack Absalom's gallery in Broken Hill and were lucky enough to meet him and chat.
I loved Pro Hart's gallery too.

I always loved camping anywhere along the river Cookie, are the men doing any fishing?

No Judy, they forgot to bring any gear!
We went for a morning cruise on a paddle steamer this morning. The most exciting part was going through the lock. Great fun.
I think our friends are getting a little exhausted. They don't like to be away from home too long, which is fair enough. It is wonderful travelling with them as they are such fun.
Tomorrow we are off to Burra in SA.

I love doing river cruises and Burra is a nice place cookie, we really enjoyed doing the Burra Passport Tour when we were there years ago.

I loved Burra - just it was the coldest place I had ever been to in my life (and I've had winter in the Canadian Rockies).
Have fun cookie

Nikkit you'll have to go to Daylesford, now
that's
what I call cold! I spoke to a little old lady walking up the street under her brolly - her husband wanted to go there to live and I don't think she is a happy chappy. He probably went there in warmer weather and thought what a lovely place it was, it certainly is but you have to be prepared for the winter.

Great photos Cookie. That Pro Hart painting looks great. thanks for taking us on your journey through the photos and commentary, these are all places I've never been to so it's great to hear about them.
