OMG,  what a family Forum Thermomix is.  Thank you for all the good wishes.  Ral is a bit better and is able to sit up for a while now.  We are booked onto a flight7.30 PM on Friday, with a 10 hour ,layover in a hotel room at Dubai air port.  Then home to Melb at 5.30 Sunday morning.   The hotel and hospital have been very supportive.  The Australian Consul has been great and they are tracking us home.
All has been compounded by problems with communication.  Son, Paul spent time and sorted out phone so have been texting. Can't use or send mail, but can get onto Forum.
Zurich insurance are being difficult, Paul is dealing with them.  They want to know why it is necessary to cancel our 2 weeks in Spain.   They have to be joking.  !!
Small piece of cooking info.  My recipe for Middle Easter pizza is very close to the real thing.  Local shop sell Turkish pizza,  which they cook while you wait.  They have Take away, in an oblong box to fit the shape.  Cheese, tomato and minced meat.
More later,  and thanks again for the good wishes,  greatly appreciated by both of us.

That's good news about your arrangements for your trip home and glad Ral is starting to recover.

You will be so relieved to be back home amongst family, friends and familar surroundings after this.  Insurance companies really are the pits, when you think of all you have gone through and all the stresses you have experienced in the last week or two, their attitude is disgraceful.  Hope Paul sorts them out.

Take care on your trip home.

I missed this, and was very shocked to read it, but am pleased to know Ral is a bit better and your return home is planned.
Sending huge hugs and healing vibes to Ral and such good wishes for a safe journey home.
Take care, thinking of you D J xxxxx

Bess I am so glad that Ral is now well enough to travel and yes you will be glad of the hotel room for those 10 hours to rest up, have a shower before the next leg of the journey.  I am sure that the insurance company will come to the party as in the first instance I am sure they have morons handing things trying to get you to forget your claim but Paul will sort it out.  Both you and your family will be so glad to have you safe and sound.  Lots of love
