Chookie thank you for the photos. The dancers look  lovely and the balloon ride looks Scarey. Brave Ral.

I am typing this as we drive through the country side. There are olive trees and fig trees everywhere.  We stopped ar a petrol station which had a large shop attached.  They specialise in thick goat youhurt served on a plate with local honey tipped on top and then with poppy seeds sprinkled over.

We are heading for Izmir,  on the coast. Ephesus tomorrow.  Will be hot.  About 34. Then the boat for 12 days.
We have 3 busses ,  90 people.  We are in bus 3 and there are only 1/2 the seat taken so we can spread out.  We have both escorts and guides.  All great.  A doctor is travelling with us and she is great also. She is from Cloncurry.
The meals are meat dominate.  Interesting.  Have bought a Turkish cooking book.
So far there I have identified 2 TMX owners and 4 whose children have TMX.  We are going to have a get  together as they want the Forum info.  Ral is a real devil.  He keeps asking people if they have a TMX.

Go Ral, promote the Thermomix wherever you go.  It looks like we'll have some new members soon Chookie.

Recipe from Izmir. Had lunch at a very nice restaurant today.  Fish and salad. Dessert was simple and special.

Mix tahini with pistachios and spread on a grill proof dish that can be taken to the table.
Heat grill and place dish under grill until it is brown.  Looks like brûlée.  Was yummy and so different. No gluten and complete as is.

I wondered how long it would be before a recipe came our way Chookie.  How thickly was it spread in the dish?
