I waited for "The Day" too. I may be the very last as it was so busy here today that I waited for the last guests to leave before I had a quiet moment to open them about half an hour ago. I'm blown away by the generosity of my SS and the thoughtfulness of my gifts.  I think that I've lost the chocolate to my DH though, as he is excited about the lemon and paeroa flavour. I love the homemade gifts and can't wait to try some recipes from the books. I love school recipe books as they often have fantastic recipes hidden in them.  My favourite quick mix chocolate cake recipe came from a recipe book compiled by my primary school many, many years ago. Thanks again to my SS, and sorry for making you wait so long. It's a tradition in my family that we don't open presents early! Also thanks to our fantastic organiser this year :)

DH and I are on our own today so I held off opening mine until this Christmas morning. ;D
My SS spoilt me rotten.I received Delia Smith Book of Cakes,The Humming Bird Bakery Home Sweet Home recipe book,Cath Kidson Rose Hand Cream and an adorable Cake Cooling Rack.
I will have years of pleasure using my gifts and will think of you everytime I do :-*  :-*
