Kim, Jamie's latest book is not really one you can have a quick look through.  It needs to be read like a novel, there are so many ideas in there for leftover roast meat as well as other recipes. All my recipe books and magazines have a list of recipes I would make and Saving with Jamie has 25 on it's list.

I looked at it but did not like the paper it was printed on.

Salad looked great & tasted great. Took me a bit longer than 15 mins as I was doing veg for cp too & I didnt flatten my chicken. Maybe 25 mins. Nice flesh flavours. I think this is his best book. I have saving with Jamie & have yet to make anything but will do.

It seems to be the current trend Gert, can't say that I particularly like it either but what can we do about it  :-))

Jaime's Golden Chicken

Mine.

I sliced the potatoes by hand then steamed them in the Varoma only took a few minutes to cook as I had the jug boiling before I added the potatoes.Cooked the onions on the stove and dumped both in the square dish to keep warm in the oven so I could use the frypan to cook the chicken and bacon while steaming the greens in the Varoma. This meals can easily be done in not more than 15 to 20 minutes. the chicken was moist and the potatoes tasty.

Very easy dish.

Go Gert, loving these meals you're cooking.  I'd pop in for a meal if I lived closer.

And you would be very welcome. No cooking for the next two days as DH's is going to Sydney to a Didhedie Christmas lunch with old work mates. Thinking next one might be ricotta fritters on Sunday .
