I stick to my menu plan to (well might change the days around if something comes up but generally not the meals once planned)

I love it and it stops all the questions ... it is there for all to read  ;D ;D

I use this planner (the second one) and write on the side (under Misc) of dishes I see or think of during the week. I write under each day of things that are on that are not in the family planner that I use side by side on my pantry door along with the kids chore lists etc  :D

Thanks Faffa, looks like I will have to plan a lot now.
Especially baking, and main meals.

Since I got my iPad I have being transferring all my thermie recipes to Paprika. It also has a meal plan function which is great. Just planning next weeks menu. I really hate trying to mix it up as DS is a fussy eater. On the weekend I plan to make DS some meals to freeze so DH and I can have some more variety.

That's a great idea DG - you never know he may want to have a small try of your different things one day, knowing that he still has his meal to go to if it doesn't suit him  :)

You are welcome Robyn, I am a list / organiser person. You should see my pantry door lol.

I used to have everything on my phone and computer which was great but not everyone else used to know how to access it. I decided when I was spending so much time looking after mum last year to put it on the pantry door so that anyone who beat me home would know where to start (and they were pretty good about it too  :)) so there it has now stayed. DS(7) likes to check each day what we are having.  :D

Your pantry will explode Robyn!! Mine did with me just going wheat free but I can tell you your daughter will feel better in a matter of days if how I felt going wheat free is any reflection. Good luck  :)

Menu plan for this week took a bit of a hit but still not resorted to take away. In fact DH has a chicken pie cooking now (was supposed to be beef strog but we had that last night as the meat was looking a bit iffy - in the end it had turned and had to get more as we were half way though the recipe)...

Beef strog was fantastic though! The meat was a bit tough so next time we would cook it less, but then we seem to cook most things for less than the recipes say. Personal preference and all that. But the flavours were fantastic. DH said he might even make the sauce as a soup!
