Sounds like a wonderful experience Wonder.  They obviously planned the rooms being up the hill and everything else down it!  More excercise to get to and from there, love it.  ;D

Look forward to seeing your photos.  :)

Thanks for the photos Uni, nice to see you out and about like a tourist.  How's your house going, all finished now?

Wonder, you lost me when I read the 6 am rise  ;D  The only time I get up at that hour is when I'm going on a holiday and have an early flight.  I've only ever heard good things about these retreats though and I guess if I had the opportunity I would enjoy it and get used to the strict routine.

Judy I'm fine with the early start as I get up around 5.30 anyway for a walk or to go to the gym, but there were many who thought they would struggle. Most found they felt so energised after the stretching and Qi Qong on the first morning that they were happy to get up the following days, although there were a few that didn't participate and there is no pressure if you preferred to stay in bed. I think testament to how good most people felt was that on the Friday morning we were taken by bus to a beach about 30 minutes away for the morning routine, were served pancakes and fruit at the beach then headed for a walk and kayak (for those interested) and they had 100% of the group get up at 5.30 and the bus was full by 5.45am with everyone eager to get going.

I think if you're going to pay all that money for a health retreat you would have to participate in all activities, no point going along if you don't.  You look so fit and healthy already Wonder and it would have been a great experience for you.  Thanks for sharing the photos.

the house is all finished Frank built the pizza oven it only took him a few days and the rest of the time we spent just lazing around the pool and discovering our area, so much nicer and cleaner than kuta or legian, but i would rather be in legian, its 2 quiet in jimbaran and 2 many creatures for my liking

I'm not afraid of gekkos Uni,  I let them live inside when we lived in Darwin.  One of the few critters I would share a house with though.

Wonder it certainly sounds an interesting experience. Uni, like Judy I love geckos. When we lived in Broome they were on the walls like yours. They used to eat the moths.
We have arrived at Monkey Mia. Last night we stayed by the Murchison River. It is a free camp but there was a lot of others there, at least 50.
The second photo is a morning tea break on the road.

Funny how the photos turn up the right way when you tap on them Cookie.  Nice blue sky, weather must be good.
