Gert... Did your consultant actually demonstrate how the butterfly will fit your tm31? I thought the fitting part was a completely different shape but could be wrong. Went to a demo last weekend and thought  the consultant made that point...

Thanks Gert. I hope mine arrives before Tassie. I ordered it about the 10 th so it's probably close. The rest of the family will be able to use the preprogrammed recipes with ease.

Great review Gert!

I ordered mine yesterday. I had talked myself out of it, but my DH talked me back into wanting it. I guess it was inevitable we would get one.

I'm not willing to put my new butterfly in the TM31 to see if it works when it's turned on. It seems to sit on the blades just as well as the old one, however it is quite different inside. There was a bit of movement as I turned it by hand, but popping the old one on there was the same movement. In size they are exactly the same, and the bones of the butterfly are the same, the only difference being in the whisks.

(I've attached 2 pics but I don't think they are working)

The story goes that the fellow who developed the new butterfly earned his PHD while working on and because of the new butterfly!

Great review. I ordered mine on about the 4th September and was told a few days ago it's still 2 weeks away! I'm getting very antsy.

Having another demo at my place in two weeks. The first demo was at my consultant's place - she's a friend. She sold three and there were only four of us there! My sister came along just for fun, determined she wasn't in the least bit interested. She was sold within the first 10 minutes and bought one!

Gert, how was your raspberry fruity dream? We had mango, which was delicious and I went home and made raspberry in my TM31, but the seeds really spoiled it. The raspberries were frozen. Maybe my blades aren't terribly sharp anymore.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I placed my order on the 9th September - money was taken from my account on the 11th. No word yet as to delivery date.
It will get here when it gets here. Though, I do think it's a bit cheeky to deduct money before dispatch.

From the reviews above, looks like it will be worth the wait.  :D

We just have to chill and wait.  I am going to box mine up to sent to a friend who will take it to India for my DIL. Have to sent it to NSW.. She does not want the varoma so hope I will have room for the extra jug.
