Glad people are enjoying this recipe.
I don't think it matters if you add dates instead of prunes or put in any other handy fruit.
My combination was just what I enjoy eating.

Thanks for a great recipe
I made this one with a handful of almonds and dates instead of prunes. I made three servings. It's yummy and will certainly be a regular.

Thanks CC and BB
I've had a bit of trouble with my appetite first thing in the morning so am hoping these will be good to take to work and eat a little later on.

I love just being able to grab one out of the fridge, make a cup of coffee and that's it - such an easy breakfast in summer. Having mine with some peaches this morning which has given me that extra sweetness it needed.

I will hang my head as I say this. I made some up yesterday, they were eaten for afternoon or supper snacks.
. I didn't mind as they are so easy to do. I will do them later tonight for breakfast tomorrow.

I'm making this again tonight and going to put in two extra dates and some almonds that sound nice, I divided mine into four but may make five or six feeds this time as with added fruit it was too much for me in the morning.

How funny I just put to soak (with no thermie, just a spoon)
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup milk
60 g blue berries
1 T chia seeds (12g)
15 grams slivered almonds.
Will put a dollop of yogurt on the top in the morning and maybe extra fruit.

Hi, it was delicious but too big!
Had half, rest will do for tmro!
Need to make smaller quantity, and try with some almond milk too!

DJ glad you liked it.
I get four or six serves out of the full recipe.
You could just halve the recipe and use dried fruit instead of apple.
Hope this works.
