Thanks for putting up the photos Cookie...all our food does look pretty darned good - If I do say so myself!  Nerissa and I did manage to get 1 chicken piece each that was left over, and even though I make that marinade a lot - it was YUM!

We had such a fun day yesterday, and no doubt will do again today.

And the Easter class, it will be all about chocolate. And I can't wait for it either! We had so much fun testing recipes for it.

Our dessert turned out better yesterday, we have pics on fb. I take them with my good camera and being just a little "challenged" in the techy bits - I can't post them here due to their size or something. (No idea why small dessert stacks take up so many pixels...and I was led to believe calories and kilowhatsits were bad! )

Anyway, we had a fun couple of days, met new people and now we are rolling on to our Easter class.

I attended the ' chocolate' class today. As usual a great class. I forgot to take photos, sorry. We were greeted with delicious machine coffee and a Chocolate Plait with Cinnamon Butter eggs. Just the description alone is mouth watering. So nice, the bread was still warm.
Our mains were Linda's Coconut Lime Fish with Lime Mash and Steamed Chicken with Mole sauce. To compliment these we had a Spinach and Pear Salad with Chocolate Vinaigrette.
The fish was really, really nice and the mash enhanced the flavour and went so well with the fish. The chicken was amazing, the flavours seemed to have so much depth with the mystery ingredient. ( chocolate). I loved both of these and plan to make them at home.
The salad was light and tasty, just what was needed.
Dessert.............well it was a sort of Chocolate class. We had Chocolate Pate with Chantilly yoghurt, served with fresh kiwi fruit and strawberries. This was beyond description. All the flavours went extremely well together and so very, very nice.

Nikki and Nerissa excelled themselves.
I enjoyed the drive and it was held in beautiful surroundings. I even saw Spotty horse. ( I think). If anyone south of the river is thinking of going up to Nikki and Nerissa's classes I am happy to drive for a car load of people. Then you only have to drive to my place.

That class sounded really good cookie, it sounds as if Nikki & Nerissa are going from strength to strength with their classes.

I love them Judy, they are fun. However there was only 7 people there today. Almost not worth the girls running it. That's why I said I would happily drive up if others wished to go. Its through the Swan Valley,  and then up into the foothills. It was 57km each way, but only an hour as it's on the main roads. The scenery is lovely.

Cookie, that does sound tempting.  I must admit it is a bit too far for me, but the classes sound like fun.

The class sounds wonderful; wish I could have gone but its the only day DH uses the car so missed out but will definitely go to another class as I really enjoyed the one I went to. Well done girls.
