TM21 shaking PLEASE HELP!
«

Hello
I have recently purchased a brand new, boxed tm21. I'm happy with it, except for one thing: it shakes badly when I put chunks of food to mix or make dough
. I've made two short movies and posted it on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9llNZHEFW9M
(dough)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGWqwYsp3MY
(tomato sauce)
If anyone's had tm21 in the past, or still have one now, please let me know if this is normal, or whether I should contact the seller to return it. I know that tm21 hasn;t got the same level of support on the sides - it's only held by the handle by a metal rod, so maybe this is natural?
Many thanks!

There is one new member who owns a TM21 who might be able to help you.But this member hasn't logged on for a few days though. Most active members either have a TM31 or the TM5.
You could contact your local Thermomix HO and ask their advice.
Good luck in finding answers to your problem and welcome to the forum.

Kneading the dough certainly gets a wobble up, it doesn't seem right to me but then I've never seen a TM21 in action. I would do what CC suggests olee_tmx. Send the link to the video to them and I'm sure they will be able to help you.

Just received a call from a nice Vorwerk representative who advised that the shaking is perfectly normal. However, when making dough the machine should never be left unattended - this is due to the way the machine is built. What a relief.
I think next time I make dough I will keep hold of it - for my liking it wobbles a bit too much!
I'm happy with my TM21, so let's hope we'll cook together for many years to come

That was a quick response olee_tmx and now your mind is set at ease you can get back to cooking. Our later models don't shake like that but the machine has been known to 'walk' a bit when kneading dough. It always pays to stay close to the machine when making bread. Thanks for reporting back.
