Error C152 - TM5
« on: May 24, 2015, 02:34:37 am »
Hi

I have just had my machine back from a warranty job and after using it for one day

It stopped mid cooking a meal and error C152 came up

Now it's not powering on again

Can anyone tell me what this could be?

Hanging out to speak to the service centre again tomorrow

Sorry I can't help you. However that is extremely annoying. When you find out what it is we would love to know so that if we have the same error we know.

I just googled this and all I could find out was that Head Office said it needed to be returned.

Oh how frustrating.
There seem to be lots of error codes that require returning the machine!
It does nothing to enhance Thermomix reputation which is not good at the moment.
To have to return it twice is just plain ridiculous.
Good luck it is almost not fit for purpose with that happening twice.

I believe consumer law says that if something is not fit for purchase it can be returned. ( in WA, not sure about elsewhere)

That is my understanding cookie1.
If a product is not fit for purpose then the purchaser has a legal recourse!
Sad state of affairs really.

Thanks for all your replies

Yes,  my confidence with this machine is totally shattered

I am just hanging out till Monday so I can ring the service center and this can be sorted out ASAP

It's been going on for far too long

My Thermomix experience so far has been more than DISAPPOINTING

I know I will love it when it works as I have managed to make some amazing meals in the time that it has worked

Melman, how disappointing I hope it's all sorted for you soon. The TM 5 certainly seems to have a lot of bugs, maybe they were trying to get it to the market ahead of the new Kitchenaid cook processor and the new Tefal one and it's backfired on them.

So my TMX has been at the service centre all week and hopefully should arrive tomorrow morning

The reason for the error was apparently some loose connections from the previous repair which is unsatisfactory as I have been without my machine for another week

All up,  I have been able to use my TMX for 5 days since owning it

I am really hoping it comes back tomorrow and never has to go back again

Thanks for letting us know. It looks as though they didn't test it very well when it was repaired the last time.
Good luck with the machine now. Hopefully you will continue to come on the forum and share your thermomix fun with all of us.

Interesting, I have an issue with a brand new Siemens dishwasher that was unpacked and installed by a plumber just over a month ago. It was given a test run by a cleaner, and fortunately she noticed shortly after that water was leaking out on to the floor. The plumber didn't pass on to me that the dishwasher wasn't working, and so its been sitting in the middle of the kitchen (!) with a note  saying its out of order and I've been phoning up all week since I've become aware of the situation  but they haven't been able to find a repair service in the area (because they haven't even tried to). Finally someone is going to the house next Wednesday but with a 10 day turnaround for spare parts this is ridiculous. I've said they shouldn't be selling their product in an area which they can't provide a repairer and I was willing to take the dishwasher back to the shop and replace it with another brand. I'm going overseas in a couple of weeks and stuff will really hit the fan if its not working by the time I get back. Used to dealing with "unusual" people in my business I have been terribly patient, but beware the wrath of a patient person.

CP, you go for it.  Service is something that is very difficult to get.
