Welcome Vivi. It takes a little time to get your head around the Thermomix but it all soon becomes second nature.
I hope you enjoy the forum and your machine.

Welcome and good to see you joining discussions so quickly - it takes some time - but apart from the Butterfly, most is unbreakable.

Welcome Vivi. I hope you enjoy your new machine. I have only had mine for a couple of weeks and I am still learning. Am planning on cooking a few more things this weekend as have someone over on Saturday and then the following weekend I have a couple of bigger dinner parties. So that should be fun. Fingers crossed no disasters.
This forum is great too. So many helpful people and they are all so lovely and friendly.
Happy cooking.

Hi Vivi, welcome to the forum. It does take a while to get your head around it - there is so much information given at demos and delivery demos and until you actually get to play with the machine yourself, it only stands to reason that it all can't sink in for a while. I believe you have to use something yourself before you will understand it. Some people just go for it but others take small, very small steps to begin with. As your confidence builds so will your cooking prowess and you will just have the best time ever with it. Enjoy.

Hello and Welcome Vivi, I've only had mine for about 6 or 7 weeks, and I can remember looking at it in awe when it was delivered, was scared I was going to break it
Doesn't take long to get in the swing of things, but one thing I will advise, just check on here before making any of the recipes in the book, just in case there have been amendments/tweaks to the recipe, it can save you a lot of anguish as well as ingredients. Enjoy.

Hi and welcome Vivi,
I have my Thermomix since last Thursday evening and I'm loving him! I have cooked
Minestrone Soup from cookbook
Whole Orange Cake adapted from a recipe
Boiled Rice
Lemon Sorbet
Dukkah
Choc Muffins adapted from a recipe
Chicken Curry from cookbook
I love it! I have printed off lots of recipes from this forum and will try them soon.
Enjoy playing with him!
