Wow just love this thread and so glad for the cookbook  ideas :) on the strength of what I have read here I just downloaded Jerusalem for my iPad from Amazon.  Loved it so much (and I'm only in the salads section), that I went back to Amazon and got two more, the vegetarian one and another. There are so many great ideas and recipes im dying to try when i get back home!

Just seen this CP.  ;D ;D

If I'm ever interested in a cook book I always check Amazon first to see if I can look inside.  Usually you can see some of the recipes so it gives you an idea of what to expect.  :D

Thanks for the review Jude, I've been eyeing this book off too - there are so many good cookbooks being released at the moment.

For those of you trying bravely to avoid buying another cookbook, the guardian newspaper online has a lot of ottolenghli recipes, especially those from "Plenty"

Thanks Bonsai I just looked at Guardian online and found 87 recipes of Ottolenghli.

Will refer to them before buying anymore books  ;D

He's been very generous with his recipes in the Guardian. A very useful way to see if you need the cook book, plus new recipes all the time. Felicity Cloakes " the perfect...." Series are great too, and at no cost.

Just been on the SMH website and each Saturday in October they are offering a free download of a cookbook.  Today is limoncello and linen water by Tessa Kirros.
