Wow just love this thread and so glad for the cookbook ideas
on the strength of what I have read here I just downloaded Jerusalem for my iPad from Amazon. Loved it so much (and I'm only in the salads section), that I went back to Amazon and got two more, the vegetarian one and another. There are so many great ideas and recipes im dying to try when i get back home!

Just seen this CP.
If I'm ever interested in a cook book I always check Amazon first to see if I can look inside. Usually you can see some of the recipes so it gives you an idea of what to expect.

Thanks for the review Jude, I've been eyeing this book off too - there are so many good cookbooks being released at the moment.

For those of you trying bravely to avoid buying another cookbook, the guardian newspaper online has a lot of ottolenghli recipes, especially those from "Plenty"

Thanks Bonsai I just looked at Guardian online and found 87 recipes of Ottolenghli.
Will refer to them before buying anymore books

He's been very generous with his recipes in the Guardian. A very useful way to see if you need the cook book, plus new recipes all the time. Felicity Cloakes " the perfect...." Series are great too, and at no cost.

Just been on the SMH website and each Saturday in October they are offering a free download of a cookbook. Today is limoncello and linen water by Tessa Kirros.
