Nay Nay.. the organic store is in a lovely tree lined street ( campbell), i think you are thinking of Natural Food Market, next to Paynes meat store.

we got about 2 drops of rain and looking at the satellite can't see any more coming soon.

BTW one of my toowoomba friends has just ordered a tmx, just need to get her on the forum so she can add her to the location poll

Yes, the "new" one I found was in Campbell Street.  They also have a cafe with homemade cakes etc and coffees.  We got thunder but no rain.

BTW - my mum and I are organising a casual TMX themed get together soon for anyone who is interested, most likely on an evening, just trying to confirm a date.  The idea is to swap some favourite recipes, tips etc.  Neither of us are consultants, just avid users keen to exploit (share) the knowledge of fellow owners  ;).

Cathy that sounds like a wonderful idea. Our first get together was really fun and of course we're having a larger one next week over here in King's Park.  They are wonderful for putting faces to names.

Wow.  Who else is sweltering??? I am about to go over to the meal planning thread to get some ideas for dinner because right now I'd happily take a cold liquid diet!!!!

Did a drive by the other night of the Organic food place... will go down tomorrow for a squiz when I can!  Is there anything in particular you wanted prices on Cathy?

With bulk buying is there a particular material anyone would recommend to store dry stuff in (flour etc).  I don't think Cathy or myself really thought the bulk buying through with the sugar and I don't think she has any spare containers now!  I was thinking calico but not really sure that would be helpful and then I wouldn't want it to leak... hmmm maybe pul lmao I can have nappies for my bulk stuff (ceejay & meagan might see the funny side of that) lol

We've got the aircons going (as usual).  This summers power bill will be a killer.
It would be great to get price comparisons of what I've listed on my spreadsheet.  They're the main things I buy at the moment.
Yes, any storage ideas would be wonderful.  My pantry is exploding!  Might have to save for some more tupperware...

Yeah we've got our one going and it's in the front room so it's basically cooling the kitchen (zucchini brownies on to cook).  H is asleep and S is overtired and stroppy and generally causing dramas!

Will have a looksee... I don't have a printer and when DH gets back from work I won't have a computer as he's taking it back with him.

Put some more water in the icetrays and am looking at sharpening my blades and cooling down later!

The coleslaw in the EDC came out quite well and we had that last night for dinner with chicken in yoghurt  Haven't made it to the shops to get maple syrup yet but I definitely will be!!!!  How long did the icecream actually last? :)

We haven't "officially" tried it yet, just little tastes off the side.  I think I'm scared that we'll eat the whole lot in one sitting if we crack it open.

Oh wow lots more willpower than I'd have!!! heehee

I sort of have a self saucing brownie now... I think I had the oven on too high or something as the outsides were starting to burn but still a bit liquidy in the centre.  Tastes okay still!

Just downloaded the AFA program... going to reboot now to see how it looks.

Can I suggest you inquire at http://www.trumps.com.au/main.htm and ask for a price list? They are in Brisbane, but I've had a price list from them in the past and remember them being quite competitive and they do larger quantities. Freight to Tmba, or a monthly collection by one of us in the Darling Downs might still be cheaper :)

I think I checked out Trumps website and maybe the prices weren't too hot?  But can't remember at the moment.  Will have to have another look.

I was in a rush the other day (pouring rain) and bought a heap of stuff from budget health including cacao powder.... I had to go to neil street for a few items they didn't have available and if I'm not mistaken there was like a $6 difference in price for the cacao (neil street cheaper).  argh! lol Well, know better for next time!

Were you still doing a get together Cathy? I imagine it'd be in the new year now?

Still planning to, just been crazy around here the last 2 months.  Will try and organise something in the new year.

Snoozie, if you've got the prices still, can you add them to the spreadsheet and reload it?
