I made these yesterday using a teaspoonful of vanilla paste. They are lovely and very easy to make.  I'll attempt to post a photo of them later.

Gee, I'll get a big head, another success.

VHJ you are right. They DIDN'T last long. DH took the last few to car club today.
Thank you for the kind words re the photo.  I find the light etc seems the best on my lovely jarrah table. The colours were just right for this one.

I'm loving the table.  I have a soft spot for anything made of wood, it has soooo much character.

We love wood too Cathy. DH was a woodwork teacher, but prefers to work with metal-sensible ugh??
All our furniture is jarrah.A bit was inherited from my parents that they had made when they retired to the city. When they died we went to the same place and got the rest made that we needed. It is really beautiful Most is darker than that table as that was the last thing we had made and the guy that made it had trouble getting first quality jarrah for the top of the table so had to take what he could get.  It's heavy heirloom stuff. I love it.

Cookie you are so lucky to have such beautiful furniture.   In an earlier life I trained as a furniture designer,  and still lust after good honest timber furniture.  Enjoy every moment you spend with it.
