hi meagan
it went well!  except for the fact that i was up 4-5 times with bubby the night before and had to struggle to keep my eyes open til coffee time!  there was lots to learn and i have practiced a few of the recipes, i have to make the herb dip for next week.
now i am trying to book in whoever i can to have a demo for me!
but all in all it was a good day and i enjoyed it, ready for the next day.

How is it that the kids just know when you have something on and need your sleep?? My youngest did the same thing the night before last when I was due to do varoma training!!  :-))

Well done Em. The kids, they always know. I remember DD doing the same to me too.

Well done with the training! It's a big trip with the drive each side too. You're doing really well!

yep meagan they just sense that you really need a clear mind the next day and decide to keep you up all night!!
thanks ilb!
kids!! hard work , not much sleep but i wouldnt be without them!
the good thing is i am going to the next 2 training days all on my own so will be staying overnight by myself, which means for the first time in 4 months i will get to sleep ALL night, yay no 3am feeds!
i wanted to ask you joelene if it would be possible to come along to one of your demos just to watch how you do it (and do your dishes of course!) and get some tips off of you if possible?

Good luck with the demo! Is it in your home town?

Just tell them it's your first and they'll completely understand. Besides your passion for thermomix will shine through and that's the main key to the demos.

Good luck Em. Sometimes being in front of friends is harder than complete strangers.

My first demo was for my grandmother, a couple of aunts were there and they each brought a friend. In the end I had sold 3 out of the first demo. I actually hadn't made a sorbet before hand, so did warn them that I hadn't had a chance to make it before and it went beautifully! Couldnt have done it any better! Though I don't recommend it.

And yes, there were lots of ums... and pauses as I checked what else I needed to say on the back of the flip chart - lol.
