Lol - can picture it in my mind's eye Thermomixer...

Well made this for dessert tonight as I've had the junket powder in the cupboard for nearly a year and hadn't tried it yet...  :-))  So thanks Nay Nay.

We added some cocoa (next time I'd dissolve it properly) and DD loved it and told me a couple of times how delicious it was.  I made 1 Lt which is too much for us really, so will try a smaller qty next time.

Think I told this before, but my brother used to chew junket ?? We all had to wait til he'd finished before we could leave the table !

The coffee junket does sound good - maybe some coffee liqueur ?

I've made a mocha junket and piled foamed milk on the top - I am not a big fan of sweetened whipped cream - and the foamed or frothed milk is light and airy with a milky taste that complements the mocha.

Again, I don't have a recipe for it, just make the mocha to taste with espresso and milk to which I add cocoa mix until it tastes right and then I add the rennet dissolved in a tablespoon of cold water - one tablet to one pint of liquid which would be a little less than half a liter for you.

Yes - 500ml is plenty for 2 dessert glasses and only need 1/8 tsp of powder.  :)

If you added some lecithin powder it would be even more stable to serve for guests?  Not that it needs to stay frothy for long before being devoured.

I have a frothing appliance, (naturally, being an appliance fanatic) called a Froth au Lait Froth 'n Sauce.  which turns a very small amount of of milk into a huge amount of foam which is much more stable than steam-frothed milk.
I got it after burning my hand on the steam from my old espresso machine.

That looks lovely Nay-Nay.

They'll need to turn your house into a museum like Julia Child's kitchen (not wishing ill, but it must be an amazing collection.

Good pic Nay-Nay & very healthy - especially when the cow out the back is producing the milk.

I mentioned in another thread that some of my oldest mixers have been loaned to a museum for an exhibit.
However there are also toasters that I won't lend out, some rather unique.
I have far too many to display them all but from time to time set out a few for a mini display.  As I don't use all the bedrooms in my house I am considering converting one into a display space.
You can see some of my collection here:

What an amazing collection Andie.  Do you have family interested in keeping this collection going or is this just your interest. I love the old fashioned toasters - nothing toasts better than they do.  I still have one here in case my automatic one kicks the bucket.

I'm afraid I sort of took this a bit off topic.  However, I'll answer your question.

Some of my toasters are going to the toaster museum: http://www.toaster.org/
Other appliances will be sold or auctioned.  I have a standing offer for most of my mixer collection and some of the other appliances, from a company that supplies props for movies.   I have a huge, vintage stove that I have agreed to sell to them for a proposed film.
Some of the stuff is going "home" so to speak because a lot of the stuff I bought at the MGM auction many years ago, was kitchen stuff from the 1930s.
Of course, if I fall on hard times, I can always sell the stuff to supplement my pension... ;D

Did they come to see you for props for Julie & Julia ?? Amazing how much you have got - have to show MrsT so that maybe she will let me encroach on another room.
