I have a collection of Sunbeam mixers, all models from the first to the late '50s(Model 12), including the "toy" Sunbeam Mixmaster. The toy is by far the most desirable collectible and they sell for incredible amounts when they show up on ebay. I agree with you, I love their classic design. I chose to stop adding to the collection....only because of the lack of space to display them! I can see why it's so addictive to collect them.
I recognised Mum's in that lot Andie - the Sunbeam Model 9. Heaven knows where that is now, must ask her what she did with it.
