I'm going to make some M&M cookies when DS gets up from his nap, but I'm going to use cherry ripe instead of M&M's and chocolate chips. And I'm going to make bolognese sauces from the EDC book for dinner.

Yes please. The vegie pie sounds and looks lovely. I'm always looking for a different way to serve vegies.

Today I made some chicken stock (on the stove top :o) from the 2 roasted chicken carcasses from yesterday and using some of the leftover chicken, made a chicken & vegie pie which used up a couple of bits of mushroom sauce and gravy from the freezer.

Jakodai, how did those biccies go? You now have me thinking of making some with Pepperment Crisp and Cherry Ripe. DS wouldn't be able to eat them because of the nasties in thses chocolate bars, but I am sure DH and I would love them.
Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate

They were amazing! I bought a few cherry ripe bars, diced ten Ito small squares and froze them so they wouldn't be crushed when they were mixed. I added them in when you're meant to add in the M&M's and chocolate chips and they turned out perfect. I've done the same thing wih snickers and they are great because the caramel melts. Peppermint crisp would be nice, but I think you'd have to mix them in by hand. They might be too brittle for TMX.
