You guys and your cakes are so talented. Was just flicking through all your photos. Good way to get a few idea for future birthdays :D

I was just wondering... if I have a question about a cake on the Celebration Cakes thread, should I just PM the person who made the cake?

Has anyone else thought about this?

They usually also post it in 'what are you cooking' Amy so perhaps ask there or pm them if you wish.

Okay, thanks Judy :) It was a couple of the older ones, so I didn't think they would get reposted on this thread.

Great cakes Maddy.
I,ve managed to make the chicken stock today. Also the Energy Bars from Tenina's book, bread, pizza bases and Judy's  Napolitana sauce for the pizzas. I just love how the TMX makes it quicker to blanch almonds.

I just can't be bothered cooking at all today but still made a peppermint slice, a couple of pizzas and some piklets. DD taking over now while I get out in the sun and clean my car :)

Beautiful cakes Maddy, what is your secret to such perfect cupcakes?  Mine always rise lopesided or over the top of the casing or have a big raised section in the middle.

I have so many questions, is there a list of tips for success somewhere on the forum?  Thanks

Currently cooking 2 turkey legs in the slow cooker for tea - smells wonderful.  Will remove the meat from the bone, thicken the sauce and serve with mashed potatoes later.  This is such a cheap, tasty meal and there is a surprising amount of meat on turkey legs.

Huge Amy, I have made soup, enough to feed 6, and still have half left over to cook this week.

I love it when we get vegies out of the blue...
