Made 2 more Madeira cakes today, one for next week and one to take to my parents place tomorrow, also made some savory pastry things and choc chip cookies. Also have pizza dough and no fuss rolls rising. :)

Those quiches look yummy Mandi, did you do a double batch? ;)

I'm jealous of everyone's wonderful cooking... I wish I had more reason to make stuff :-))

They are only a mouth full or two each. So only little, and I don't eat them (yuck) lol

No, I make all the goodies for the kids and DH, so I try not to eat any if I can resist. Bit unfair I reckon since I'm doing all the hard work.

That must be a test for your willpower sometimes. Maybe you should make some really nice, healthy things that are just for you?

Before we were married I did alot of the cooking (just because I wanted to, I love cooking and mum doesn't)  but I had never ever tried anything I made.  :o After we were married, I kinda had to eat my own cooking - or starve! LOL!!!  DH often laughs about it, saying things like "but how did you know it was any good if you didn't try it?" - I didn't need to with 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 2 parents... :-))

Cooking today - some more brownies and blondies for the freezer, mini quiches, bacon and egg pies, and cheese and bacon rolls. Not cuz I need to, just cuz I want to!  :)
:D

Nothing as yet but this afternoon will see some more bread,( it disappears so quick here I think people must eat it!) then pasta for our dinner of pasta, salami, spinach, tomatoes and broccoli in followed by a try at re creating a steamed jam roly poly in the varoma.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
