Just made the mushroom sauce.  The recipe you sent Judy, is very similar to the EDB one so I combined them a bit.
The result is the colour and consistency of vomit and tastes pretty ordinary.
I'm making another batch in the frypan now which is looking much better.

:D :D  Sorry Amanda, won't recommend that one again.  I thought the picture looked quite good.

SueJen, that's going to last you a few meals.

My sister called in when I had just taken it out of the oven,  tasted it and then asked what it was. Told her it was like a bread pudding, then she asked if I was serving it for dessert. I think I must have been adopted!!  ;D ;D ;D

LOL I've made more bread, a couple of batches of biscuits and some meat pies. Tenina's  Craisin and Pistachio shortbread is lovely. Hopefully we don't eat them all before Monday.

Love how you say mob JD. My 1st FIL use to say mob when referring to family. Very Aussie.
I remember when I was 19yrs old and getting married and late DH's father pulled me aside and said " very happy you are going to be one of our mob" lovely memory.

I'm glad you have happy memories of your  FIL Michele.  I think I picked up that word when living in Darwin back in 1970/71  - it just slips out sometimes LOL

Today I will be cooking chookie's Meyer Lemon Tarts, except I've made the mixture using mandarins. I hope it turns out okay :-\

That bake looks really good Sue, I hope everyone enjoys it :)

My tarts, based on Chookie's recipe: http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=10196.0 ;D

I made 12 but then ran out of pastry, so I added milk and flour to the remaining mandarin mixture and made it into custard :D
