Beans have sprouted. I am going to have a crack at some sprouted grain bread, and will post recipe if it's successful.

Last night I steamed a piece of Pickled Pork in the Varoma, just as it come in the cryvac bag, it turned out great, It was nearly 2 kg  Steamed for 2 hours.
Happy Birthday to your 6 year old Big boy Dede, the cake is great.
Tenina's Chicken Stock Powder turned out great with the chicken wings, will continue to cook it this way in the future, i cut the salt down to 60 gms and put in three teaspoons of sugar.  ( I really liked the one from Aldi and it had a slight sweetness to it.)

How did you make it CP?  DId you add the sprouted grains to a regular bread dough or did you cry and mill the sprouted grains to make flour?

I added the sprouted grains to a bread dough. Its very easy, however its best to slice the following day apparently so will post the recipe if its tasty. I got the sprouting mix from the health shop.

Looks good CP. let us know how it tastes and if the grain is hard or soft.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I soaked them overnight before putting on the tray to sprout so I don't think they are hard at all. It really is delicious, but I'm kicking myself cos I should have used a smaller tin. I'll slice this up and pop in the freezer for DH, and then I'll start sprouting again. But taste wise - yum!
