Lemon Feather cake, (posted) for some special visitors tomorrow.  Drying some more Sour Dough Starter.  Made some beef cubes to JB's spanish recipe,  am going to dry them and turn to powder.  I Think  :-)) :-)) made No Fuss Loaf in bread machine.

DD ,  I will be interested to hear how your 100% rye goes,  as most commercial rye bread is only 1/3 rye   . I like your cakes. and the sound of the Ginger biscuits.
Amy, Fruit cake looks great.  I make a pineapple one that he might also like.

Choc hazelnut biccies (recipe will be posted soon), and some more of Amy's quiches this time with a bit of added carrot, capsicum with sliced tomato and chopped chives for garnish. I've got to finish making uni's limoncello that I started last week (hope its still alright), and then steamed roast chicken for dinner tonight from DOACB

I'm feeling better, so I've started cooking again. :)
I made some crusty bread rolls http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7541.0 which turned out nice and crusty , but I had plenty of the egg wash leftover. I had wasting food, so I looked at the sad banana in the fruit bowl and made some blueberry muffins. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3147.0 I had buttermilk in the fridge so I used that instead of the yoghurt. I should have cooked them a few minutes longer as they deflated when they came out of the oven.

I have finished making lemoncello, and have started some mandarincello too.
The kids wanted pasta tonight so I made meatballs. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=9710.0
It was good to use the steaming attachment , as I don't use it very often.

Cold and wet here today so the kitchen is the best place to be.

Have made a batch of no fuss rolls, a batch of shortcrust pastry for an Almond & apple tart, a couple of pies in the pie maker for lunch and still to do, the 'healthy' roast chicken from the Devil cookbook for tea.

I've had both my TM bowls going today.  Made the lime panna cottas and while the mixture was cooling for the next step, I used my other bowl to start the Ooh la la vanilla bean ice cream.  Both things are now chilling.  Will churn the ice cream either tonight or tomorrow and will have the panna cottas tomorrow night.  :D

Sounding good Judy and Julie :)

It was a nice warm day today, so I went out and enjoyed the weather and left the slow cooker to do its thing ;D
I will need to bake something tomorrow though. Maybe some muffins :)

Lots of sausage rolls for my son t take to school for a thing tomorrow afternoon. Suffice to say I shall be using recipes from here for the first time :) though my supermarket doesn't sell sausage mince, it's either a pork/beef mix (60/40 I think), or various grades of beef mince. [I should note, that I didn't actually sign up for cooking the SRs, Bob did that on my behalf *grumbles like Muttley*]

Not sure about tea yet.

Have you tried these sausage rolls? http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=5376.0
You won't need to worry about the type of meat to use!
I've made these for a family gathering and no one could believe they didn't have meat in them. Mind you, my BIL who is a butcher wouldnt even try them, but They are really yummy.
