Is your Weber gas or the coals Judy?  We have a coal one and I haven't used it for ages though I remember the meat used to taste so good.  :D

I have a gas weber Julie and a medium sized WeberQ which is gas of course too.  I use the kettle for roasting meat/cooking potatoes and the WeberQ for BBQing.

Thanks for all the comments girls, hopefully I can get a photo of everything when it is laid out for them to help themselves.

I made some mayonnaise and then some coleslaw with what I couldn't clean out of the bowl. I also made some basil pesto which I tossed with ravioli and steamed veggies.

Swedish ice cream cheesecake, tenina's pull apart, gentle men's relish and some sort of cookies.

I've boiled some eggs, made potato salad, cooked asparagus - have plenty of meat leftover from yesterday so we will be enjoying cold meat and salads this hot weekend.

I think we're doing the Christmas pudding today.... it has to boil for five hours :-))

I'll try to convert a recipe from one of my lovely new baking books :D

My TMX arrived last night  ;D
So last night it was beetroot salad and mushroom risotto for dinner, with some bread rolls, followed by custard.

Then this morning, I've actually started having more of a play...DD's birthday was at 11am, so before that I made frosting for the cake (after a fail using a non-tmx magazine recipe, found one on here  ;) ), vienna loaf, herb dip, chicken hors d'ouevres & sorbet, plus some lemon curd this morning for breakfast (although it hasn't set, so might have to see if I can rescue it - still tastes good).
I think it will just be leftovers tonight...if I can keep away from TMX!!

Need to do more of that bread though - was demolished in minutes!!

Goodness Jo.  You have been busy.

Getting your thermie the day before your DD's birthday, well that's just great timing.

Sounds like you've done a great job so far.  You'll have to take pictures for us to see your good work :)
