Love the avatar and the cat JulieO.

No cooking today except for the woven loaf for lunch. It is in the oven at the moment.

It's out now.

Here are the pictures of Judy's Mushroom and Caramelised onion tarts made into little quiches. I made 10 small quiches from the mixture.

Also Tenina's White Chocolate and Rasberry Mousses.

Here is a pic of the custard scrolls (sprinkled some chopped dried cranberries on too).  A big hit with the kids, especially DS.  And me - I love all things custard.

Haven't got onto the fudge yet - decided to take some of the scrolls to DH & his workmate for afternoon tea, since they are working late tonight.  So then by the time we got back, it was time to start dinner (beef risotto) which is cooking away nicely now.

And now DS tells me he really wants me to make a cake for their end of year lunch on thursday - he wants a 3 layer cake like his sister had for her birthday!  Darn, I nearly bought a new cake pan today, and for layers more than one would be so handy!
Jo

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

Made Green Curry in A Hurry - very tasty (pic below) - and steak and mushroom pies with cream of mushroom soup that I made and no-one liked.
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy cupcakes - and that's kind of the same thing :)

I cooked it yesterday but didn't get a chance to post it until now

I made wild mushroom risotto - from the EDC but with dried wild mushroom

I don't actually like the texture of risotto, I don't like sticky rice - so I used basmati instead of arborio.

Yum. Only thing, I needed to halve the recipe, I've got enough to feed the neighbourhood :silly:
I do the best I can
