Just made some strawberry sugarfree cordial (used natvia instead of sugar), am half way through making some 'cheesy' kale chips, and then am going to make some coconut cream + milk and make coconut yogurt for DH.

CP,  I think it is because they are very thin and the sugars in them brown.  I have tried sweet potato, pears,  carrot ,parsnip and apple.  The fruit is not so good,  but from 1 med. potato you get lots of chips and they keep crisp for at least 3 weeks in an air tight container.

I've just made a cherry based fruit mince. I know it is past fruit mince time but I love it. I may make some sort of fruit sponge for dessert or even just have it over icecream. The fruit is just soaking in the hot liquid. If anyone wants the recipe I am happy to post it before cherry season ends. It is very easy.

How do you make coconut cream and milk?

Great cake Hally.

Hmm homemade crisps, now that is a tempting idea.

There is a recipe for coconut milk in the Thermomix Indian cookbook. I use desiccated coconut but you can use fresh if you can get it.
Blitz 100-300g of fresh coconut speed 8 until fine, or weigh in desiccated coconut.
Add water -3 times weight of fresh coconut or 6 times weight of desiccated coconut.
Cook 5-20 mins 100 C speed 4 (depending on weight of ingredients) until steaming
Blend 30 secs speed 8
Strain through muslin lined sieve to produce thick coconut milk.

The recipe says you can add more water and repeat process for thin milk but I found it quite watery and not worth doing - might be better with fresh coconut.

Tis recipe is really quick so you can whip some up at short notice. I freeze leftovers.
