You are so clever Mama Bel - being able to cook and talk at the same time.  I'm too busy talking to my machine, repeating the directions out loud, to be able to hold a conversation with a real person at the same time :P :P :P :P

JD, it's a learned skill.  There is no peace here with 6 homeschooled kids in the house!

I made the mayo for the first time on Saturday, was kind of nervous ???, then in the middle of adding the oil the doorbell rang! It was the MIL so could not ignore that! :o I had to sort that out and when I came back, there it was, the most perfect, aromatic mayo! No more bought rubbish for me! :o :o

We had Trudy's tuna noodle dish tonight
Is that somewhere on this forum?  We love tuna - especially when there's nothing defrosted.

Sorry TMXer, can't send any sun over, it's cloudy here again today after 2 beautiful days of sunshine.

Tonight we're having beef and guiness with all the vegies cooked in the varoma.  Then tomorrow hopefully the left overs in a pie.

Thanks for that.  I searched for Tuna Noodle Dish, but it didn't come up as slightly different name.  Looks good.

Yeah - slightly tricky 'cos everyone refers to it as Trudy's Tuna & Noodle dish - but judydawn posted it as tuna & corn - keeps you on your toes !!

Might have to see if cookie1 or judydawn canchange the title to Trudy's Tuna noodle and corn casserole ??

Tonight made a WW Chocolate Coconut slice - haven't had this for many years.  :-))

Ooh goody! have you converted it yet? Is it the one with crushed cornflakes or weetbix?

I've posted the recipe here : http://thermomixinnortheastvictoria.blogspot.com/2009/09/chocolate-coconut-slice.html

She ate some last week before she got sick - but then there wasn't any left (where's that blushing smiley?).

She's still picking like a sparrow and is still quiet unwell. Our normal GP is on leave, so saw someone else yesterday for a sick certificate, but despite her being pale, tired, not eating, complaning that she feels sick and the file notes from when we were in there last week ... I was told that the fact that she played with a toy in the clinic prooved there was nothing wrong with her  >:( :o . I thought exactly the same when she fell asleep in the car after the appointment (despite a full 12hr sleep that night) and woke with a roaring temp again....NOT   ??? :-X :'(
