A friend of ours has a huge vegetable garden Robyn. He works for my SD and sometimes brings bits and pieces to work because he knows how much I love cooking :D

I saw Jamie Oliver cook a slow roasted lamb last night, so now I've got all the ingredients and am going to cook it in the wood-fire oven cos I love experimenting with it

Sounds yum CP. I am slow roasting a lamb leg later but not wood fired unfortunately as that will have so much flavour.
Yorkshire pudding batter all prepared will prep veggies just before cooking. Going to try the roast potatoes steamed first in the varoma. They look great.

I used up the cherry fruit mince I have had in the fridge for ages and made fruit mince tarts.

Slow cooked lamb shoulder in the wood fire oven (5 hours and falling off the bone), braised lemon & oregano potatoes and then teamed with sautéed zucchini & patty pan squash. Dessert was Italian stuffed peaches (Marg Fulton) with salted caramel maple icecream (recipe here). The two vege dishes came from the C*les magazine which is well worth downloading or picking up as it well and truly worth the free price tag  ;D

Visitors for lunch today so doing one of my favourite meals for them.

Chookies Lemon Chicken, steamed rice, stir fry cabbage, vienna loaf, Isi's Light Coffee Dessert and/or my vanilla ice-cream.  Our friend is a diabetic so I'm hoping this meal is suitable for her.

Lunch sounds lovely Judy.

CP I get recipes from both the Coles magazine and the Woolworths Fresh magazine. Especially on the iPad you can save the ones you like.
