Finally we have some cooler weather here so I'm happy to be back in the kitchen. Made some 40 second icecream and I have the mixed berry & yoghurt cake in the oven. About to make some pastry for a quiche for tonight's dinner.

Yes deedub. Cooler weather for cooking here too.
Made Uni's 1hr bread rolls, CP's ginger macadamia cookies and raspberry coulis to serve over yoghurt.

I'm proving the buttermilk bread from the EDC at the moment.
Such a sloppy recipe!

I think I ate about 20 yesterday, but today I've cut back to 2 at a time. Speaking of which I had better go for a walk to burn off a couple.

I have been given some home grown organic apples. I didn't think the kids would eat them as they had brown spots, so I decied to purée them. They were so hard, that I broke my red Ikea corer/slicer
Luckily, I have a green one sitting in the cupboard

Wow ES, those apples sound dangerous
I've been given a crate full of tomatoes, chillies and herbs... I think there are a couple of sauces on the agenda for today

Looking good Kylie!
Sweet chilli sauce currently in TMX
And while investigating the crate further I also found a huge pile of rhubarb
