Finally we have some cooler weather here so I'm happy to be back in the kitchen. Made some 40 second icecream and I have the mixed berry & yoghurt cake in the oven. About to make some pastry for a quiche for tonight's dinner.

Yes deedub. Cooler weather for cooking here too.
Made Uni's 1hr bread rolls, CP's ginger macadamia cookies and raspberry coulis to serve over yoghurt.

I think I ate about 20 yesterday, but today I've cut back to 2 at a time. Speaking of which I had better go for a walk to burn off a couple.

I have been given some home grown organic apples.  I didn't think the kids would eat them as they had brown spots, so I decied to purée them. They were so hard, that I broke my red Ikea corer/slicer >:(
Luckily, I have a green one sitting in the cupboard  ;)

Wow ES, those apples sound dangerous :o

I've been given a crate full of tomatoes, chillies and herbs... I think there are a couple of sauces on the agenda for today :)

Looking good Kylie! :D

Sweet chilli sauce currently in TMX :) And while investigating the crate further I also found a huge pile of rhubarb :-))
