Snappy I've added your tweak to the original recipe here so that we can find it down the track.

Made my first rye starter. Have always used white SD starter.  Made a Rye and Caraway Loaf,  thought you might like to see it!!!

Lovely loaf Chookie, bet you were pleased with that.

Sorry CC & Amy, I hadn't noticed your new signature lines.  Must be more observant  :-))

I've just made a recipe from this month's Australian Healthy Food Guide - home-made tinned spaghetti.  Don't know why, just because I could I guess  ;D  It tastes good to me, don't know what the youngsters would think of it but it was aimed at them.  I'll have some on toast for breakfast tomorrow and see how it goes.

Yes ,  am pleased with loaf.  Have had a bug for the last week and this is a result of 'tough love'.  Grow the starter,  feed it an put in fridge and forget it.  Take out of fridge,  leave on bench and again forget it.
Judy,  please post recipe if any good. Just the sort of thing that kids, big and little,  love.
CC and Amy,  did notice your new mottos.  Love both.

I thought you had been quiet Chookie, hope you are feeling a bit better  :-* :-* :-*
That was a very well behaved starter, don't know how you do it.
Yes I will post the TMX version of the spaghetti once I've tried it in the morning - it makes 8 toddler serves, is 154 cals per serve and I would have less than that for breakfast.
