Suzanne, they are really easy and so yummy. I made the custard before work this morning- put all the ingredients in thermie and walked away. Then rolled out the pastry and baked them this evening.
I was hoping that there would be one left for tomorrow, but they have all been eaten :-\

I made quirky Jo's fried rice tonight to go with pies from the freezer. I have run out of potatoes.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I made the Donna Hay orange yoghurt cake (into cup cakes of course), so I will post pic later.
Thought I might give the quick buttercream icing a try, that Johnro posted.

Can't wait for a photo Maddy :D

Yesterday I made a double batch of pumpkin soup and two pumpkin fruit loaves. I still have half a massive pumpkin so today I will make pumpkin cookies and maybe a quiche :)

Then onto the rhubarb :-\

Then the chillies :-))

Nothing today, apart from dinner. Yesterday I made trudy's banana cake as I had 3 bananas that needed using up - I keep buying them but I seem to be the only person who eats bananas in this house. But when DD came home from school the first thing she asked for was a banana! grrrr
