Just got back from a trip down south so needed something easy and quick, decided  on porcini mushroom and onion risotto, DH very happy with choice.

Risottos are a good choice for a quick meal Augusta, hope you had a good trip down south - it would have been cold if you were from the north of Australia though ;D

I'm back. I didn't read too many posts over the last month but this was one I checked each time I logged on. I have lost all the pages of unread posts so I probably have missed some good new recipes and am probably a bit out of the loop. The broccoli has finally peaked whilst we were away and nearly going to seed, so am making JD's Thick Broccoli & Cheese soup for tea. Oh it's so nice to be back in my kitchen  ;D
