What's it like having him nearby whilst you cook Cookie, normally he is down the back in the garage.

Oh I am sure you two are having a lovely "close" time cookie.  He must be going nuts just  sitting and you must be going nuts with him just sitting. How life changes in a moment eh? There is a lesson there.

Gert we were only just discussing that. DH was saying how surprised he has been that one minute he can walk and run and the next minute he can't. I am coping quite well at the moment Judy. But he isn't. He just doesn't know what to do with himself. He can only sleep so much and use his ipad so much, and chat on the phone so much.

You wouldn't believe it but DH's brother was to drive to Denham yesterday. They got about 120km out of Perth and jack knifed the trailer. It flipped over and fortunately the tow hitch broke and didn't roll the car. DH was totally unable to go up and help with the recovery. Another one of those moments where life could change for many people. It is spooky all the things that have been happening. :-\ :-\

I have some in the cupboard Gert. He would rather pull an engine apart.  We will get there. He will be outside sitting on a chair soon, especially as his beer will need bottling in a day or two.  ;D

I'm having a demo on Monday night and there's a new selection. I've asked the guests to choose between Salmon/Chicken Veloute and Mushroom Risotto. They chose the risotto and I was quietly disappointed as we have risotto so much (but am of course happy to have whatever the guests decided) and I wanted the chicken recipe. Anyway, I found the consultants version online after a quick google search and that's what I'm cooking now. Very easy. Potato & Leek soup cooking underneath chicken and vegies with a sauce :)

Love it CP. I took him to the specialist and he has a MRI at 7 pm on Friday evening. The specialist thought it was nothing major, possibly a meniscus tear which I have discovered is often mistakenly called cartilage.

Cookie, that's great that you have already been able to get an appointment for an MRI, hopefully it's nothing too major and can be easily fixed.
