Made an Apple Crumble Cake to take out to DS and family.  DIL at work so I left strict instructions for the others not to eat it all, which is what happened last time  :-))

Katie, looking at the beautiful pattern on the sourdough you must be using a banneton! Looks very impressive.

Thank you. Yes I did use a banneton. First time I've used it, really happy with how it turned out.

Katie where did you buy your Benetton please? Your bread looks lovely, as does yours Hally.

Lovely bread Katie and Hally.
Today I have started 2 lots of SD,  made Trudy's wicked Peppermint Fudge and Turkish Delight cordial. Will post if any good. Also steamed in the Varoma some new potatoes that I found in the garden when weeding

Lovely baking ladies. :)

Today I made a beef casserole in the SC and a Spanish Rice Custard in the TMX.  I couldn't resist licking the bowl, and it is yummmmm. ;D

Cookie I bought the banneton online from Simply No Knead in Melbourne.  I bought it ages ago though when I also bought a bread tin, I just never used it.

We've been watching Paul Hollywood's "Bread" on Foxtel lately and last week he made sour dough and proved it in a banneton. It inspired me to give it a go.

I have seen them on eBay.

The bread looks lovely. I have to admit that I actually bought a loaf of bread from the bakery today as I don't have time to make it this week. :(
I made a pile of sandwiches this morning for grandparents day at school, and a gluten free version of Bron's lemon sponge. I made some capsicum jam to put on some of the sandwiches and shredded chicken for the others.
I have also made up some new flavours of refrigerator biscuits, but haven't had a chance to bake them yet.
Tonight I made Snappy's lovely coconut chicken curry for dinner.

Here are the photos from my baking the other day. Sorry they are late but I have been "kneeded" by DH a little. Actually it is more guarding him to make him rest!
Judy's delicious starter.
. These were delicious, despite being named 'poo' biscuits. I'll post the recipe.

This is the healthy pumpkin fruit cake. I will post that too.
