ES what a huge effort!  😃😃😃😄. Your school must love you!

I bet the Peppa Pig cookies were a smash hit at the fete!  Took DS to see the Peppa Pig show at the Opera House last week and there were many obsessed toddlers and pre-schoolers!

WOW, ES, They will sell like hot cakes.  Look fab.
Today made a very large SD loaf.  I had 1/2 cup of custard left,  still in bowl so added starter, flour and water.  Bingo. Terrific loaf.  So if you have made soup, Falafel, In fact most stuff,  don't wash out bowl ,  just go ahead and make bread.

SD loaf with custard.  Somehow a slice slipped of the end and quickly disappeared. All in the name of research!

Yes, I use the one in EDC book with a few modifications.  Tiny bit of corn flour and half sugar.

Gosh ES, that is a wonderful array of cooking.  I am certain they won't last long at the fete  ;D

Chookie, that is a fantastic loaf, would never have thought to do that, just goes to show what can be done, thank you  :)

Chookie, that loaf looks terrific. I have the same problem with the end of my freshly baked loaves too.  :)
I've taken a leaf out of your book today. I haven't used my jug since I made the chocolate icing on Saturday and its been sitting in the fridge with some of  Isi's chocolate topping http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2801.0. I've added cream and milk to it and churned it in my icecream maker, and then folded in some choc chips.
Obbie, I bought the cake wrappers for loaf tins and round tins from my local Foodland supermarket. They obviously didn't sell well as they don't sell them anymore. >:( they were fabulous to use for the fete.

ES you have been so busy.  I am sure everyone loved your food. Chookie I love your lateral thinking, the loaf looks delicious.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Wow ES well done. Super baker or what. You must have raised a lot of money.

Chookie I am confused about the bread and custard..... Please can you explain?

I made lemon Belgium tea cake with pears and flaked almonds

This is always a hit no matter what filling is used.
