Nice early start JD. I call it having a Uni moment.  :D

Since I haven't been on for the forum for over a month, I'm so far behind I can't hear the band playing. Would someone be so kind to send me a link to In The Mix 2 please?

Here's the link to the contents list Michele but I'm not sure if you wanted that or a link to where it can be purchased.  Here's the purchase link.

I've been out most of the day. I went out to a shop Tenina often speaks about Weigh'n'Pay. It is a fair way from me, but is a great shop. I have decided a trip out there every now and then will be good. I bought some Rye flour, a lot of candied fruit for Christmas cakes etc, and a few other things.
When I came home I had to make dessert to take to my brothers for dinner. I made Tenina's Pecan Pie from the e dessert book. I made it look horrid by testing it in the middle. The raw mix was lovely.

Thats a great shop cookie. I always spend way too much there but they have everything. Your pecan pie looks scrummy too. My KA arrived this arvo so I'm making a Strawberry Hazelnut Gateau for my neighbours boys as a practice run for a bbq in a couple of weeks time.

It's Expresso - a lovely chocolate color. It was so hard to choose. I love red first, and my ice cream maker is red, but then when I startedthinking about all the other colours individually it was a HARD decision. I decided to go for a color then that didn't stand out and blended in more with the kitchen. Really happy. Might have to try a loaf of bread and see how it goes. I love trying new things.
