Well done Richard, the trifle looks terrific and I bet will taste wonderful.

Have nearly finished making a Banana Cream Pie ( a Dorrie Greenspan recipe) for DH birthday tomorrow .  Custard made with brown sugar, egg yolks (6) milk, corn flour and cinnamon and nutmeg.  Whipped cream on top has sour cream added.

My DH Richard has made this today to take to a friends place for NYE.

It's a sparkling Shiraz jelly trifle topped off beautifully with home-grown raspberries from the lovely generous Karen. The jelly was inspired by Maggie Beer recipe my DH saw her make on her Xmas show.

The raspberries are so delicious and we are lucky to have lots more left in the fridge.

Beautiful trifle.  :D

Richard that looks lovely. You have trained him well Katie.  ;D :D

I've decorated this cake that I made yesterday. It is lovely. The mascarpone has a little lemon butter folded through it.
