I think I would be happy trying moose. I've had crocodile, deer and dugong.

I've had crocodile, kangaroo, turtle and wallaby. Black pudding doesn't interest me. Crocodile sausages are delicious.

Moose mince....go Laura! I've tried kangaroo, sliced thinly and served rare with a salad. It's nice and much better than the "hoo roo stew" mum cooks for dad. The smell of that stew is horrible 😉
Today I made hot cross buns, Hally's cheese bacon puffs, lime and date cake and Jamie Oliver's chorizo carbonara.

I think the best Black Pudding comes from SA.  I can buy this in the Vic Market in Melb.  Expensive but freezes well.
Today made Plum and Raspberry jam.

Today made these
http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/node/17670

With extra chilli and/or sweet corn..
Baked in oven instead of frying.
Surprisingly good!
Served with stir fried veg.

Also made big batch of JD's tomato soup to last DH at work all week in his flask.

Working towards the end of my jam making while it is cool.  We have a variety of citrus trees.  So today going to collect Chinotto, Meyer lemon, limes, Austrian limes , Cumquats  and Lemonade lemons and cook then all together for marmalade.  Instead of slicing,  will give them a quick zap in TMX.
Also,  was given some Apples yesterday so will core and peel,  cook up these and use strained liquid as base for Marmalade.  Will bottle Apple slices in jars in Microwave.
DJ,  these look nice.

Haven't had time to do much cooking lately so though I'd relax and spend Sunday afternoon in the kitchen. I made basic bread in the slow cooker, 5 seed bread and rock cakes from the EDC, pizza pops from the RC, ES's chocolate cake, chocolate weetbix slice, more fig jam and a big mess!  Lucky I have a lot of spatulas.;D

You needed them with all that cooking Gayle, one can never have too many spatulas I've found.

Gosh you were busy. As Judy said you can never have enough spatulas. I have had two older ones snap off recently and I can't buy ones like it anymore. They do get a bit bent over in the thermomix when I scrape stuff out.

Helene's are the best I have ever bought.
