I take it it was too hard to do with one hand then Astarra.

mmmmmm, I got the dough made, just couldn't get it from a blob of dough in the TM to anything else!  >:(
My cast goes right up to half way up my thumb so cannot even use that.....  :-[

You certainly will have to be creative Astarra. That cast is a pain in the butt. Maybe just buy  bread rolls for the moment. The family will then appreciate all you do all the more when It comes off!

Think of this as an opportunity to give yourself a break from your normal routine .

Yep, think I will have to buy bread for a while!  :D
But cannot bring myself to buy muffins etc for the lunchboxes so might see if DH will supervise the girls making some over the weekend.  8)

A friend called in so got roped into doing some scraping out TM, cracking eggs and stuff....and I got some milo yoghurt made, also 2 double batches of leopard slice (one DF, one not) so while I am in pain now, I am happy...that will do the lunchboxes next week!!! :D

Take the drugs Astarra! Don't let the pain get a hold and stop with the scraping! LOL!

Astarra!!!

I made the meat for Pepper Pies, cooked another loaf of bread, made a cake using mashed pumpkin, walnuts and 180g 70% Lindt chocolate. We tasted it at Jamaica Blue months ago and they were giving out the recipe as it promoted Lindt.

Astarra take a holiday (of sorts) and put your needs first for a while. I speak from experience. Many years ago when the teens were small and DH was overseas on business, I sliced my finger to the bone. I tried to keep going and made it worse. Ended up having to hire someone to help out. She was from an agency as we had just moved house and I didn't know anyone. No family within about 1000 km either. Put your feet up and become needy ;D

Love Mothers Day.  They all come and I cook. This year we are having 2 Mothers Day.  1 today, duck in oven, pots and pumpkin ready, need to make Awesome Cheese sauce for cauliflower, and pick silver Beet.  Mango fruity dream.
Tomorrow,  chicken,  same veggies,  same Fruity dream.  The bonus is that I now have spaces in fridge.
Also made Cream of Celery Soup as requested for DD to take home, plus Date slice from Community and a bread stick.
Happy Mothers Day.
