No cooking today; we had a day out in the fresh air and drove to Toodyay. Beautiful day and came home tired with the traffic. Juliette when the sewing wins over the thermomix I do patchwork and some dressmaking and also some volunteer sewing for a couple of organisations here in Perth. Making a table runner at the moment with a tiger embroidered in one corner and some soft toys which will go to King Edward hospital. I should put this bit in the what are you doing thread.

They certainly do Chookie.  Something else to try with our SD starter.  I don't have any rings though, can you post a picture of those you used please Chookie?

Photo of crumpet rings as requested.
I think they might be good for forming Florentines.

Cookie,  give them a go.  They are so easy.  Ral said that they were much better than the bought ones.  You probably don't have to feed the starter and wait.  I think you could just bring it to room temp.

Yum Chookie.

Made half quantity of http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2356.75
100g chocolate, with a small tin of evap milk, and added 3/4 of cup of Greek yogurt as DH wants cool things, but not very sweet.

Very yummy, slightly softer, paler and not quite as sweet. Just what the doctor ordered!

Thanks chookie x
