Lovely cooking. I have enjoyed my break but am looking forward to going home to my Termite and making lots of bread etc.

I christened my new camp oven and made a loaf of Cookies vienna bread; turned out good in the camp oven although it was too heavy for me to lift out of the oven so DH had to come and help. Also made 3 slices but one is a bit crumbly. Slices are not my thing and I prefer to make biscuits.

Yum, Katie and Kimmy 😋😋

We've ran out of jam, so I made another 2 lots of Chookie's strawberry conserve. Whilst that was spinning away, I made my mum's delicious butter cake in the KitchenAid. One of the kids' favourites, especially with a bit of sultanas.

Very jealous of all the lovely baking. I' m cleaning out the pantry.  Snowing outside.  Have made 2 small loaves in mini SC,  both with rye flakes added. Baked Coffee slice for Ral.
Katie,  what don't you like about the SD loaf.   ?

I am getting outta here I don't want to know about snowing.

I got out of my sick bed to make a cake to go with coffee when two friends dropped in.  It was a funny recipe But quick.

Love everyone's cookin'

Sorry to hear you're unwell Gert, I hope the friends' visit cheered you up.  What a trouper to bake something for them.

I made a batch of multi grain rolls using PhytoSoy flour I've had in the freezer since I don't know when.  Very happy with them.

Gert, get better quick.  Still snowing! Suzanne they look delicious.
CC , how do you get your rolls so uniform. .?
Just made 4 mini packets of preserved peel.  Have been saving peel from lemons, Tangelos , oranges and Mandarines for a week.  Frozen,  should last a year.

You have all been busy. Gert I'm sorry to read that you are unwell. Take care.
It was cold in Melbourne last night and this morning Chookie so I am not surprised that it is snowing. It sounds exciting to me but I'm sure you don't find it so.

Gert, I hope you did not catch a chill after your Sydney visit. Today's maximum temp in Sydney is 15c!

Probably picked up this nasty on the train or bus. Toooooooooo close for me. I am used to having lots of space up here. DH is going to Sydney for a DIDHEDIE DINNER  tomorrow and staying the night so I am doing absolutely nothing. Hope he does not come back with a nasty bug.

It was 27 here today. Just beautiful.
