Thanks for the nice comments everyone! I had not made a "braid" like that before, but will definitely use that technique again. Easy and pretty.

I have made a spiced apple cake and some oat choc cookies today. DH's aunt and uncle are over from Aus so some has already been shared and enjoyed.  Not a great weekend for them to visit, weatherwise - pretty cold today, and certainly a big change from Gold Coast weather!

So much good baking.  I have been trying not to bake as I eat it.  I can just drool over what you are all cooking.
Visitors tomorrow,  roast pork lunch with roast pots, pumpkin, green beans ,  beetroot and apple sauce.  Got it all ready today.   Also made Rum and Raisin ice cream and a new dip made from lentils and sun dried toms.  Might make Florentines to have with coffee for afters.

No calories in drooling!
Cherry nut biscuits, choc ripple biscuits, lemon cheesecake and choc ripple cake.

Look great Kimmy!

I had to make cupcakes for a working dog event,  being held & part organised by Hubby at our local club.
All went well, and will become an annual event.
I made cookies & cream and Nigellas choc chip muddies, but topped with choc icing.

....all 72 sold, and club made some money.  I've been given the job to supply cupcakes & cake pops for the canteen next year.
.........EAT CAKE!

They look delicious Maddy!
I made some delicious, moist, coconut cupcakes that are gluten, grain, fructose, nut and dairy free from Alexx Stuart's website http://alexxstuart.com/coconut-cupcakes yesterday for afternoon tea. I also made lemon and passion fruit curd tarts, ILB marble cake  and some grainy gluten free crackers (which were really crumbly ). I had to make more bread today as my family have demolished the rye bread
