I'm exhausted reading this. Well done girls.
Hoping DH has a speedy recovery Kath. Wonder you are a great mum.
Made some scrolls for lunch and a few different raw food truffles (no photos just yet) but they  are lemon, raspberry and blueberry flavours.

Those scrolls look really yummy Kimmy :)
I finally made my Christmas contribution food today. .. In between specialist appointments i managed Tenina's Cranberry Sauce (from the 4 Blades/TRTLMTM e-mag), Jamie Oliver's Get Ahead Gravy and "Stuffins" from the Emily Bites blog...all gluten free and finished off whilst supervising DH making shortcrust pastry for a lemon tart. I'm hoping to make Nigella's sweet and salty bars tomorrow but we will see!

This morning we saw some lovely dark plums at the Spud Shed so we bought a kilo. DH helped with all the pre preparation so we had time to make plum jam as well.

Nico's Tortilla Espanola from his first book Cooking Passions - Food for Friends.  GD requested it for Christmas Day brunch.  I made double quantity in 2 frying pans then cut it to fit this large rectangular dish for reheating tomorrow.  The leftovers will go down well here for a meal tonight.

So far today we've done potato salad, rice salad from here, trifle, fruit salad, layered salad, cooked the pork and
It is only 9.30am. DH has been a great help. After our coffee I will make a terrine, similar to the one in the Festive Book, roast some tomatoes with garlic and chilli and EVOO and DH is doing a layered salad.

I have to put the finishing touches to Tenina's Christmas Pudding Bombe and yesterday I made a Rocky Road icecream cake.

Having great fun with DH's help.

Nice tortilla Judy,
Just prep today for hot lunch tomorrow. Made jamies get ahead gravy, stuffing, glaze for ham, scored ham, cooked the chicken roll, par cooked the potatoes and chopped up all the vegies. Hoping that frees up some time to sit and enjoy the family tomorrow.
