Karen, please post if  savoury loaf is any good .

The savoury loaf was absolutely delicious.  I have posted it in the special diets section, although it would be a shame for it to be used only by those people following special diets.  DH and both my kids loved it and came back for seconds and thirds.

We have got the old Fowler's Vacola out of the storeroom and are bottling more cherries, apricots and nectarines.  Brings back memories of being a kids and having to pack the fruit into the jars because we had small hands.  I also love how pretty the jars of preserved fruit look, all lined up in a row, when they are done.

I enjoy getting as much value for money as I can Michele and turkey drumsticks are so meaty and so cheap.

I've made some bread, a loaf of the stollen recipe on Tenina's blog, I have some beef on SC for pulled beef tonight and will make some bread rolls to serve it in soon.

Looks wonderful Judy, is the turkey recipe on the forum?  There is certainly a lot of meat on the turkey drumsticks.

Jam apricots at the farmers markets 5kg for $10.00 and  2kg of tomatoes for $2.00
I've made 6 jars of apricot jam and 1 jar of tomato Chilli jam.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
