Red capsicums are cheap at the moment so bought a bag for $2.99 and now have a further supply of roasted red capsicum in the freezer.

That's a nice old classic Kimmy, I haven't had any for a long while but I used to enjoy that slice.

Had a batch of plums given to me again today, not enough to do too much with so I decided to make 2 batches of Plum liqueur - it keeps so well and the fruit can be used for other dishes.

I made a batch of Choccy Rocks this afternoon. An old favourite.

Julie, Kimmyh is a wonderful baker. I love this slice but know if I bake it it won't look like Kimmyh 's. However I am going to make it but don't expect a photo  ;D
I have been making jam. 10 jars so far. Nectarines and raspberries, necks and blackberries and necks and mixed berries. Only 1/2 way through. Also 2 large jars of bottled Apples, ( done in the microwave. ).
Sitting having morning tea with new WW magazine.

Closing my eyes Chookie.  I forgot to even check it out at the supermarket this week.  Love to know what you think of it though  ;D

I agree about Kimmy.  Have salivated at some of her big photos, they make me want to reach through the screen and pick up a piece.  ;D

The WW mag is lovely, I really like how it's set out.  I've been typing up recipes from it all week as well as from the Australian Healthy Food mag which I also like.

Have also borrowed the Donna Hay book 'Fresh & Light' from the library and have been typing up recipes from that before it gets returned.  So many recipes, so little time!  :D

I succumbed to the WW magazine as soon as I saw CP's slice from it.  :D

I also like the way it is set out , and the photos are excellent, and also know that if I decide to make something, it will work.  That said, I don't find the recipes at all challenging .  There is nothing there or similar , that I haven't already cooked. .  However I can see it appealing to a lot of people, especially those with school age children.   I will have a good look at next months before I spend $10.

Is it $10 a copy Chookie :o  That's a bit rich!  Is the set out similar to the Taste magazine, I didn't like that.

Yummy slice Kimmy.  I haven't made that recipe for years, must make it again soon.

I have a chicken, leek and mushroom pie, made from some left overs, in the easy cooker at the moment.  I've never made a pie in it before and it's far too hot to put the oven on so we will see how it goes.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Yes Judy, $9.95. I think it is a bit expensive.
Still cooking jam. Had to go and buy more sugar.
Prawn toasts in AF tonight, then small lasagna and salad from the garden.
I made some ice cream, no dairy or gluten.  Don't know whether to post it or not.  Made with nectarines, cashew nuts and coconut milk. Didn't tell RAL what was in it and he liked it.

I think it is a bit better then Taste Judy. But then it is more expensive. A lot of stuff in it I thought unnecessary, like what is seasonal now. I would hope people would either  now that or be able to tell from the supermarket prices. I still enjoyed it though.
