Everyone's cooking looks great. I dealt with some overripe fruit by making mango icecream and strawberry Choc chip icecream. I also made easy Apple teacake cupcakes and quicker than a packet cake cupcakes. Tonight I turned some leftover Chile con carne into enchiladas using Julie O's recipe for the tortillas.

KimmY I would love the paella recipe if you get a chance. I tried one from taste.com and felt it didn't have much flavour.

My upholstery friend has a birthday tomorrow. For a gift I made Citrus Curd today to add to the jar of Apple Butter that I made a few days ago and a bottle of Vanilla Extract. I hope she likes it

What beautiful gifts CC. I'm sure she will love them.
Nikki reminded us of the recipe for Vanilla Bean Paste from tickofyum.webs.com
I use a lot of this so I am going to make some and see how I like it. It will certainly be cheaper than buying it.

;DI've just made Chookies Salted Caramel sauce (which I bottled and snapped the jar lid on very quickly and put out of sight) plus her Vanilla ice cream. I feel all is good now I have done that

I don't believe it....when I went to take the pics of the cookies I made today, all I could find were crumbs in the bottom of the container...........
Was
a batch of Choc chunk cookies and a batch of Snappy's lunchbox cookies.
