Your welcome CC. Love how you topped your cake.
Today I made chookies Belgium lemon teacake and ate leftovers.

That's really interesting Astarra. I'd be interested to hear how it is going down the track a bit. I do hope it works for him.

Great news about your DH astarra.

I have a lasagne under way to put in the freezer ready for the family when they come home next week.  There is a Bimby Chocolate Cake in there already.

Roasting some vegetables to make into soup for ourselves.

Great cooking girls.   Thanks for the photos.
Today made 5 scones in AF. A new minestrone soup recipe for DD . Corned beef, mashed pots, carrot and parsnip mash, apple crumble with topping from freezer. Steamed eggs in basket for curried egg sandwiches. 24 SD crumpets.

Chookie, can I come to dinner; I love carrots and parsnips mashed together, reminds me of Mums cooking when I was growing up and I like to make it as well.

Mum always added lots of pepper and butter to our mashed carrot and parsnip.

I would add pepper and butter as well but my family don't like it so it just goes on my plate.
